11. I usually call this the spiral. What you are going to do is work from the inside out. Never work outside in. NEVER. Start with the smallest lines in clutters, these are going to be the easiest ones to get out of the way. From there on you are going to move from the inside out. Cut within the eye and move outward. This will preserve your eye design and by doing this you can create a pupil. For girls, cut the eyelashes on the bottom. Guys, create a linework underneath the eye. This way you don't wind up with islands.
12. Hair should be cut like if you were combing the hair. Start from the line end and move inward towards the center. Cut in that direction so you reduce the risk of your hair curling up on you. The last thing you should cut should be the top of the hair. This will make things faster for you and you wont be worrying about your hair ripping out.
13. Neck and ears should be spiraled out. As for the big parts, as long and you cut a shape that wraps around the neck it will look fine. DO NOT CUT STRAIGHT LINES EVER. When you cut, jiggle your blade a little bit. Cut using your wrist and not your fingers. It should be a movement, otherwise your stencil comes out choppy and very blocky and amateurish.
14. Don't forget to throw away your trash. I forget to. It's a hassle.
15. Now that you know where to cut, we shall start cutting.
You can't work from the outside because the stencil will collapse. Like when you carve a pumpkin. And it's not stable enough because your cutting on something that has holes. Same with the hair. Cutting down cuz theirs more support at the top than the center. You should try it when you're over tomorrow

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
